Meet Nancy Mak-O’Leary, everyday disruptor and family caregiver, and her cousin, King, who has an intellectual disability and autism.

“I learned that I can grow to love someone who was once a stranger to me. I don’t know if I’m doing a good job or not. But I’m trying the best I can, and the best care I can give him is love.”

Nicole Kidman Rocks the Ageism House
Disrupt Aging applauds Nicole Kidman for calling out Hollywood ageism at the SAG Awards. Kidman, 50, acknowledged performers such as Susan Sarandon and Meryl Streep, whose careers have flourished well past age 40, and noted that actresses today “are proving that we are potent and powerful and viable. I just beg that the industry stays behind us, because our stories are finally being told. It’s only the beginning, and I’m so proud to be a part of a community that is instigating this change.” We couldn’t have said it better, Nicole!
