In July at the annual March on Washington Film Festival, AARP sponsored the Scholars Symposium to explore what activism looks like across generations. The Disrupt Aging “Activism at Any Age” panel featured renowned civil rights activist, Rev. Paul Smith; marketing and media maven, and the creator of #OscarsSoWhite, April Reign; and designer, Mina Enayati-Uzeta; all of whom shared their views on the civil and social justice movements of the past, present and future.
