50 Brain Boosting Recipes

Be Brain Fit has collected 50 brain food recipes, saying "One of the hardest parts of eating healthy for your brain is coming up with new ideas. There are literally million of recipes online if you want to lose weight, shed belly fat, reduce carbs, or go gluten-free. But if you want to eat right for your brain, there are very few recipe sources created specifically with brain health in mind."

They've divided the recipes into the following categories: breakfast, soups, main courses, side dishes and desserts. Looking over the recipes, I find that there aren't any ingredients with which we are unaccustomed or unfamiliar.

This one, the salmon with blueberry horseradish glaze looks good to me. https://www.vitalchoice.com/recipe/grilled-salmon-with-blueberry-horseradish-glaze  I think this might be a great New Year's brunch item.

My favorite brain food is anything that is rich in GABA. I am talking about Walnuts, Almond and Sunflower Seeds. I also love anything that's rich in choline e.g. eggs although I take those ones with caution.

"As a summary of our research, we are now convinced that fluoridation of the water supplies causes a low grade intoxication of the whole population, with only the approximately 5% most sensitive persons showing acute symptoms. The whole population being subjected to low grade poisoning means that their immune systems are constantly overtaxed.... this can hasten health calamities.”  - Dr. Hans Moolenburgh, MD (1993 affidavit and 2014 interview)

I had been suffering for about a year and a half with a bunch of symptoms, including but not limited to gastrointestinal, when I made myself a nice organic vegetable soup. I immediately became ill.

I remember sitting there think, "what could it be?" The answer came to me in a sudden bolt - it was the water. I was horrified.

My primary care doctor yelled at me when I asked if it could be something in the water. He was the Chair of the Board of Health who had ordered fluoride into the water, which began the very week my illness began. I had seen him several times about my chronic illnesses.

An environmental health allergist rushed me out of his office, just telling me that it could be anything... just don't drink or use city water for any cooking.

Turns out that the Public Health Service knew in the 1950s that a percentage of the "allergic" population would suffer acute symptoms from fluoridation, but they decided to continue with the policy.

I estimate that today, between 15 and 50% of the American population is suffering from chronic illness because of fluoridation policy (or consumption of foods that are heavy with fluoride, usually due to use of fluoridated agrichemicals or processing methods: black & green tea, sardines & canned salmon with bones, and all grape products). There is also science that indicates illnesses like Covid are worsened in the presence of fluoride.

And of yes, fluoride also causes or worsens the symptoms of arthritis, thyroid disease, diabetes, kidney disease, dementia, etc. so I wouldn't say that soups containing any fluoride are good for anyone's brain health.
